Do You Accept Pets
We are dog lovers ourselves and we understand the value of having your family pet with you. However, we have to think about our guests so we will only accept one small dog by arrangement.
Any additional deposit will be agreed with you in advance.

What Is Your Cancellation Policy
- All cancellations must be notified in writing. If you cancel your holiday more than 6 weeks before it is due to start, then your deposit will be forfeit. If you cancel less than 6 weeks before the holiday, then the full balance remains due and is not refundable.
- We strongly advise that you take out comprehensive travel insurance to cover cancellations. If you choose not to, then you accept responsibility for any loss that you may incur due to your cancellation.
- Your booking will not be cancelled by the owner except in exceptional circumstances beyond our control. Notification will be given of the cancellation as soon as possible and we will promptly refund all payments made for your holiday. Our liability for cancellation will be limited to payments made to us.
Can I Change My Dates
If you need to change your booking date then please contact us. We will try to accommodate you as much as possible but the cottage gets booked up especially in the summer high season, so we may not be able to change your dates. If this happens then we will take all reasonable steps to sell your dates but if we are unable to then our cancellation policy takes effect.
What Is The Earliest Time I Can Book In
We ask that our guests arrive no earlier than 2pm of their arrival date.
If you arrive earlier then we may ask you to grab yourself some refreshments next door at the pub!
What Time Do I Have To Vacate
We ask that you vacate the property on or before 11am on the day of your departure. This allows us to get the property ready for the next guest.
What Ferry Company Do You Recommend
We have no affiliation to any of the ferry companies however, if you want piece and quiet to read your paper, then Red Funnel offer a signature lounge facility. Further details can be found here
Wightlink don’t offer such a facility but they dock at Fishbourne which is closer to the cottage.
What Is Your Smoking Policy
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the property and outside. The pub next door has a smoking bin and we would ask our guests to use that. It is purpose made so reduces the risk of fire.
What Is Your COVID-19 Policy
The property will have had a thorough clean and all surfaces will have been sanitised before you arrive.
Before arrival we ask that every guest download the NHS App and scan themselves on arrival using the QR code displayed in the entrance hall.
We supply anti bacterial hand rub and anti bacterial cleanign spray and we ask that you use it as much as possible.
I Have Tested Positive For COVID-19, What Do I Do
If you have tested positive for coronavirus before you arrive, please contact us and explain the situation. We may ask to see proof that you have tested positive before a refund is issued.
If you test positive or receive information that you have tested positive whilst at the cottage, please inform us immediately.
